Goal

The goal of this training program is to deal with the topic of sexuality in an unbiased way. Doctors of all disciplines, and those still studying should receive solid knowledge and achieve special skills through continually reflected experiences, which allow them to advise and direct (basic module) or to treat (curriculum) patients with sexual problems in their specialty and thereby expanding their medical competency.

After the completion of the curriculum, one is qualified for independent sexual medical diagnostics and the therapy of sexual dysfunctions. One can also work as a sexual medical doctor and sexual therapist without a psychotherapeutic degree based on the “PSY I” and multiple years of medical experience in sexual therapy.

You will get a certificate (Basic module) or a diploma (Curriculum) from the ÖÄK (Austrian Medical Association):

Diploma for Sexual Medicine from the Austrian Academy for Sexual Medicine
